Scotland is the first UK nation to ban plastic cutlery, drink stirrers, and food containers. An exemption will be made for people who need plastic straws for medical reasons. This is very good in a lot of ways. Source

The Global Acceptance Index (GAI) uses a country’s public beliefs and policies regarding lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people to determine that nation’s score, which is then used to rank each country in order from most accepting to least accepting of LGBTQ people.
According to new research released in November 2021, "globally, the average level of acceptance has increased since 1980," and"Brazil, Canada, Great Britain, and the United States have all increased their acceptance of LGBTI people and rights." Source

"Fearless dog gets award for saving over 100 Koalas from Australia's bushfires. Bear is a 6 year old dog and helped rescue over 100 injured koalas from the Australian bushfires. Koala’s population is decreasing so this dog did just help the koala’s." Source
